JAMES MAY (Executive Director- EMEA) |
Hello TekWissen family! I am honored to be able to write the Director’s note for the May 23 edition of our company newsletter.I joined TekWissen in November 2020 to launch our UK /EMEA region and RPO service line. It has been a rollercoaster of a journey for all of us over the past 2 years so I will share some of my insights with you. Joining any company in the height of a pandemic was challenging for all of us, so one of the main reasons I joined TekWissen was the feeling I got of trust and that I was joining a leadership team who recognized that challenge and was invested in me and the UK opportunity. It was also a “no brainer” to reunite with my original Allegis partner and friend -Matt Fringeli! As we have won accounts and new opportunities in EMEA and RPO, I have always been in awe of my India colleagues and leaders. The commitment to build teams and mobilize our delivery is second to none in the industry. It makes all our jobs so much easier when you can sell and develop solutions to clients knowing we will commit resources and all our collective energies in ensuring all our engagements are a success. The RPO journey has been fascinating. Having received our first opportunity nearly 2 years ago we have now supported over 10 programs whilst learning fast to become RPO delivery specialists which as you know can be very different go contingent recruiting. Our teams have pushed themselves to learn the end-to-end process and the key differences that clients expect from an RPO provider vs staffing delivery. We currently have nearly 40 people in our organization now who have RPO experience which is now the spring pad to grow this service line with other clients. Our key successes have been the recent launch of our enterprise level RPO with Vestas - US and Wilson/ NTT – India. I was delighted to have been able to attend our very first OORJA festival and awards ceremony in March. It was truly inspiring to be part of such a great event and to celebrate our individual and team successes. I do hope I can return to India again soon! With that I wish you all continued success and always remember when times seem tough, we will always come out stronger and better the other side! |
