My first week at TekWissen came shortly after I graduated with my Bachelors in Business Administration. Having finally been able to enter the professional workspace, I was admittedly worried about whether I would be taken seriously in a professional environment. I didn’t have as much experience as most of my coworkers, and thought it would be an uphill battle not only to fully learn and understand a new industry, but to build trust on a new team. Luckily, I was wrong. From my first week at TekWissen, I felt I was granted the same level of respect as anyone else on the team. I was supplied with the tools and support I needed to quickly grasp concepts that were brand new to me. However, I was also given the space to apply them in practice. I was propped up by teams that were happy to jump in where I might need help, but empowered with the confidence that I could first solve a problem myself. Anyone in our industry knows that it is never smooth sailing. Each day brings new challenges to face, new candidates to orchestrate, new clients to broker with. However, it also allows us to redefine our own standards of the service that we’re providing. It allows us to stretch the limits of our creativity, and to reimagine the milestones of our delivery. I am grateful for the opportunity to have grown under TekWissen’s wing, and I look forward to our future success as a team! |
