Hello TekWissen! I am Suchitra Layek, working as an Assistant Manager in the Recruitment operational team. It's great to be here and share a bit about my experience. I began my career at Tekwissen right after finishing my engineering degree. I moved from the eastern zone to Visakhapatnam, which was entirely unfamiliar to me. The new culture, people, surroundings, everything was very different for me. The initial challenge I encountered was the language barrier, but I am grateful to the wonderful people here who provided support. I was new to recruitment when I started as a fresher. I had no idea what to expect. As a new graduate, the recruitment world seemed very new and scary. The first few months were tough, with lots to learn and times of not being sure. But by working hard, not giving up, and being open to learning, I slowly got better and started to understand this industry. It has now been 8 years since I joined Tekwissen, and looking back, I can say with confidence that it has been a truly remarkable and rewarding experience. The knowledge and skills I have acquired over the years have not only shaped me as a professional but have also instilled in me a deep passion for the work that I do. In the beginning, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information and the fast-paced nature of the recruitment process. From navigating job boards and networking platforms to conducting interviews and negotiating offers, every day presented new challenges. However, with the guidance and support of my mentors and colleagues, I gradually developed a keen eye for talent and an intuitive understanding of the nuances of the industry.
