Hi I’m Doug! I’ve been with TekWissen as a Program Specialist for two and a half years. I came to TekWissen from Booking.com after the travel industry was forced to downsize during the pandemic. Since I came to TekWissen I have loved learning about the staffing industry and about the interesting challenges and personalities that come from each very different client account. I love the constant communication and collaboration required to staff the varied roles we are tasked with filling and using those challenges and meetings to build relationships with the POCs and contractors I work with day in and day out. The thing I like most about TekWissen is the people. A lot of companies claim to be a people first company, but TekWissen really lives it by caring for each other as individuals and taking the time to support each other at every level. It motivates me to support my colleagues in the same way and to strive for personal and professional growth both for myself, and to make the company the best it can be. I take the most pride in sorting out individual problems for contractors that are unique or out of the ordinary. I think these opportunities are where TekWissen sets itself apart by leveraging our best asset: the great people that work here. When I’m not working I like to spend time with my 2 dogs, play and coach baseball, play board games with my friends, work on improving my house and yard, and paint miniatures. I also spend of lot of time with my family spoiling my nieces and nephews whenever possible. I also love to travel and am training for a bike and barge trip with my extended family through Germany and Luxembourg into France this Autumn. I am excited to be part of the TekWissen journey and I feel fortunate to be able to work and collaborate with so many wonderfully talented people across the globe. Thanks for reading! |
