Hello! It is my pleasure to have to the opportunity write the Director’s Note for this edition of the TekWissen company newsletter. I joined TekWissen in the beginning of July and can’t believe it is already the end of the year! I was brought on as Managing Director, Employer of Record (EOR) and Agent of Record (AOR), reporting into Manish Senta. My role is to continue to continue to expand this business segment. For those of you that are unsure of what EOR and AOR actual are here is a short definition. An Employer of Record (EOR) is a third-party entity that assumes the legal responsibilities of an employer for a workforce, handling tasks like payroll, taxes, and compliance on behalf of client companies. An Agent of Record is responsible for the Independent Contractor classification process and contract management including scope of service engagement with the end client. My career in Human Capital Management (HCM) began in the early 2000’s after a tenured career as a Human Resources Manager for a large retail company in the US. My first role in the industry was working for a staffing company. My career continued to expand and progress into other areas within HCM including international experience with Managed Services Programs / Vendor Management Systems. How did I end up at TekWissen? Over the course of my career, I have had the pleasure of working for some phenomenal organizations and unfortunately, some that were not. Thankfully, the phenomenal organization I had the pleasure of working with for over 10 years. Why would I say phenomenal? Because it was a diverse company that was emerging and making a name for itself in the industry. Not to mention there were the people, culture and the overall desire to be successful. We truly believed and so did our clients that if we said we could do it than we could. Thankfully because we believed in ourselves and each other most of the time we were able to deliver. Luckily, for me Manish never stops building his network! I was introduced to Manish by a dear friend through LinkedIn. Networking can be tricky because sometime it can be a great experience with easy conversations and others can be challenging. Speaking with Manish was a dream come true! He was so genuine, sincere, professional, a natural conversationalist and FUNNY! As I learned about the Senta brothers and the evolution of TekWissen, I wanted to know more… the excitement was real. Then I had the pleasure of visiting the newly renovated Headquarters in Ann Arbor and meeting Manish, Bill, Matt and the rest of the team in person. It was a gut feeling but I new this was the company for me. I am truly excited to be a part of the TekWissen family and to contribute to the continued growth and success of the EOR and AOR business segment. The warmth and professionalism I've encountered from each member of this exceptional team, coupled with the innovative spirit that defines TekWissen, reaffirms my belief that we are poised for even greater achievements ahead. I look forward to collaborating with each of you as we navigate the exciting journey that lies ahead. Here's to a future filled with shared successes and meaningful accomplishments! |
