KESAVAN UNNI (Director of Operations) |
When the Human Resources team approached me to pen down a few lines for the newsletter, there were quite a few aspects, which ran through my mind, but I would keep this short with a few of my thoughts. My association with TekWissen has been close to seven months formally but my acquaintance with the Senta brothers dates back to the year 2007 when I first had the initial interaction. What impressed me then and something that continues even today is their humble and empathetic approach to all that they do. I remember the days when the idea of TekWissen was floated and we were part of a few deliberations initially. What stands apart is their focus, grit, and will to be true to their vision and to their stakeholders, which includes the clients and the employees. I can say without a doubt that these values of integrity, respect for individuals, commitment, and passion for all that they do has played a major factor in making TekWissen what it is today. Today, as each one of us embark on a journey to take TekWissen to the next league, I congratulate each one of you who has decided to be a part of this incredible journey and to all those who have spent considerable time imbibing the vision and living the dream each day! This being said, it is important to remember that the industry is getting more competitive by the day both technologically and in terms of responsiveness. We need to ensure that we believe in our strengths and have a mindset to be a leader in our industry and a preferred business partner for our customers. For this to happen, a few questions we need to constantly ask and remind ourselves are: a)Do we understand our Company’s vision and the purpose of our existence? b)Are we clear on our roles and responsibilities and the deliverables? c)Are we passionate about serving our internal and external stakeholders and more importantly our customers? d)Do we have a mindset to continuously learn and be abreast with industry practices? e)Are we using the available technology effectively in our work? f)Are our actions data-driven and propelled by adherence to Company policies? g)Lastly, do we want to be an industry leader or a follower? There could be many more each of you can think of and add as we all bring loads of experience and wisdom to our day-to-day work. As I sign off, I am confident that TekWissen is on its path to setting standards for the industry we serve, and as the saying goes S_CCESS cannot be spelled without “U” and it is “You” who certainly can make this difference. |
